I made pies grandma's pies... https://familyhistory.joshuadpatterson.com/pumpkin-pie/ I made a couple of revisions this year that are not reflected in the recipe yet. Due to jello no longer making easy availability of the 3oz (small box) cook and serve pudding, I made 3 pies with the traditional recipe. Yet, the recipe needed to be updated, so I found that if you use 1 4.7oz box of cook and serve with 3.5 tb of sugar, 1.3 tsp of pie spice and everything else the same it works really well. On top of that I learned that the traditional recipe calls for the mix to be stirred for one minute at boiling, but does not define boiling. So, bubbling starts at 160 Fahrenheit, but you should cook it (constantly stirring) to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 seconds. And it becomes much more firm. So those are my revelations from this year.#starwars #pumpkinpie #pie #millennium #maythepiebewithyou - from Instagram

Anthopleura elegantissima, also known as the aggregating anemone or clonal anemone, is the most abundant species of sea anemonefound on rocky, tide swept shores along the Pacific coast of North America. This cnidarian hosts endosymbiotic algae called zooxanthellae that contribute substantially to primary productivity in the intertidal zone. A. elegantissima has become a model organism for the study of temperate cnidarian-algal symbioses. #science #tidepools #oregon #astoria #beach #springbreak - from Instagram
